Raipur
Raipur is a historic yet rapidly modernizing city located in the fertile plains of the Chhattisgarh region. Situated near the Mahanadi River, it serves as the administrative and commercial capital of the state. Known as the “Rice Bowl of India,” the city acts as a central hub connecting the mineral-rich tribal south to the industrial north. It is approximately 285 km (177 mi) east of Nagpur and about 530 km (330 mi) west of Bhubaneswar.
