Job Summary:

The Sales Officer is responsible for promoting products and services, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets. The role involves fieldwork, client meetings, and close coordination with the marketing and distribution teams to ensure consistent business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into successful business deals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activities.
  • Promote products and services through direct sales, field visits, and digital platforms.
  • Coordinate with dealers, distributors, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare daily and weekly sales reports and submit to the manager.
  • Provide feedback from the market to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of sales techniques and market strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools).
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated approach.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or field operations (FMCG, banking, or service sector preferred).
