Job Summary:
The Senior Executive – Debt Management Services (Rural) is responsible for overseeing loan recovery operations, managing overdue accounts, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies in rural areas. The role focuses on maintaining customer relationships, resolving delinquent cases, and improving collection efficiency through structured field visits and coordination with local teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage overdue loan accounts in assigned rural territories.
- Conduct regular field visits to meet borrowers and ensure timely recoveries.
- Negotiate and finalize repayment plans with customers facing financial difficulties.
- Coordinate with collection agents, legal teams, and branch managers for recovery processes.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements in debt management.
- Analyze collection data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Identify potential risk cases and escalate them for legal or higher-level action when necessary.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to promote responsible repayment behavior.
- Support awareness initiatives on financial discipline and loan repayment in rural communities.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially with rural customers.
- In-depth understanding of loan recovery processes and financial documentation.
- Good knowledge of banking and NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) operations.
- Ability to manage fieldwork efficiently and handle high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with local languages and rural market dynamics (Telugu preferred).
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Postgraduate degree (MBA/PGDM in Finance or Rural Management) is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in loan recovery, collections, or debt management — preferably in rural finance, microfinance, or NBFC sector.
