Job Summary:
The Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting academic research, and contributing to departmental development. The role involves preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, mentoring students, evaluating performance, and assisting in academic and administrative activities in alignment with institutional goals and academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in the assigned subject.
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, and examination papers as per the academic curriculum.
- Evaluate students through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Guide students in research, dissertations, and career development.
- Participate in academic committees, faculty meetings, and institutional events.
- Contribute to curriculum updates and continuous academic improvement.
- Conduct and publish research papers in reputed journals.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and academic integrity in all activities.
- Use digital learning tools and modern teaching techniques to enhance the classroom experience.

Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with NET/SET qualification as per UGC norms.
- Ph.D. (awarded or pursuing) is preferred.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized college or university.
- Fresh postgraduates with strong academic records may also apply (as per institutional norms).
