Job Summary:

The Relationship Manager – Group Loans (GL) is responsible for managing and expanding group loan portfolios in assigned rural and semi-urban areas. The role focuses on identifying potential customers, forming borrower groups, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring timely disbursement, and achieving collection targets while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard new customers for group lending in rural and semi-urban markets.
• Form and manage borrower groups, ensuring proper documentation and eligibility verification.
• Conduct field visits to promote group loan schemes and explain loan procedures.
• Monitor loan disbursements and ensure timely collections and renewals.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to build trust and ensure repeat business.
• Handle customer queries, grievances, and repayment issues effectively.
• Coordinate with credit, operations, and collection teams to maintain portfolio quality.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports on loan performance, disbursements, and recoveries.
• Ensure compliance with all organizational and regulatory guidelines in microfinance operations.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in rural engagement.
• Good understanding of microfinance, lending, and collection processes.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork and manage on-ground client interactions.
• Target-oriented mindset with good planning and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, data entry, loan management systems).
• Knowledge of local language (Telugu) is essential.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM in Finance or Rural Management) preferred.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or NBFC sector with a focus on group loans or rural credit.
